Alaskan Adventures

Select sketches from my trip to Alaska. Not much to say except that it was really cool, figuratively and literally. I just drew whatever what was on my mind or in front of me. I do enjoy drawing animals now, even if I'm terribad at it.


Anchorage Zoo.




The seal on the bottom was a total drama queen.

Trip to Seward and the Seward Aquarium. The bird was totally posing for me, it was so weird.



Back in Anchorage, where I ate at Humpy's Great Alaskan Alehouse. It's got wonderful Apple Beer!

  1. It's a shame you have so many watchers and so few comments, especially as your work is so good. :) I particularly feel you really captured the birds here, even through such quick sketches the breeds are easily recognizable and you've got the proportions perfect. :)

  2. Aww thank you for the nice compliments! I think that's just Blogspot for ya, even the most popular/skilled artists using this site rarely get waves of comments. I'm just happy to get a comment or two. :)

    I'm a bird person, I just love drawing birds in general. I need to learn to draw other animals though, hahaha. XD
